Silent Tears Sexual Abuse Support Group
Silent Tears Support Group is a faith based support group designed to help adult survivors come to a deeper understanding of their unique value as human beings and of their worth before God. The support group is out of loving concern for others ensnared in the vicious cycle of guilt and shame which separates them from healthy relationships with God and others. Silent Tears Support Group attempts to restore dignity to individuals who have experienced the excruciating humiliation of molestation/incest to assist them in their struggle for identity and healthy self-esteem. Silent Tears Support Group meets for ten-week sessions three times a year. Silent Tears Support Group guides the small support groups to create an atmosphere of confidentiality and safety where childhood feelings and experiences can be shared with group members.
